Case study: Livestreaming a 3-day corporate summit to 5 countries

How we delivered a stable, multi-language livestream for a regional summit with speakers in Nairobi, Dar, and Kampala—and kept latency under 15 seconds.
The client needed one main stream plus optional language channels. We used a primary encoder in Nairobi with redundant backup and CDN distribution. All speaker feeds were brought into a single switcher; we had a dedicated comms line for each venue.
We ran load tests a week before and had a rollback plan if the primary CDN failed. On the day, we stayed under 15 seconds end-to-end latency and had zero dropouts. Post-event, we provided VOD with chapters and subtitles.
